Rima Fauzi is a singer/songwriter based in Brussels, Belgium – a country she has called home since 2001.

After many bands, musical projects and musical experiments, in 2006 she finally joined a band called “The Housepainters”. The Housepainters is a band founded by Belgian-Croatian musician-songwriter Ivan Nagels, and other members includes pianist Ernst Vranckx and producer Oliver Adams of Praga Khan and Lords of Acid. Besides singing, she has a real passion for cooking, baking and writing. She cooks and bakes anytime she can and she has recently taken up food photography, although she jokingly says it’s more of food pornography, cos the results of her photos has been said to turn people on. She hopes to open un petit bistrot of her own one day.

As for writing, she writes in English and Indonesian. She hopes to be published some day although it may just be a pipedream, but you decide if she’s good enough and don’t be shy in letting her know what you think. You can read her writings in her blogs, where they showcase her articles and very random thoughts and sometimes personal experiences that she manages to turn into some kind of silly tale that may convince you that she is either very awesome or the goofiest person alive.
