It seems that viral blogging has taken over the blogosphere this past week, at least the Indonesian blogosphere, that is. After the boobs post, I have been tagged by our very own JAKARTASS to do a meme post of 10 things.
Just to spice it up, I thought I’d do a different thing than the others, especially seeing as I’ve done 100 things about me in the past another here and a really awesome meme here.
This one is ‘10 things I hate about me’ and ok, let’s get this over with…
1. I am a self-trained singer who has never had studied music, vocal technique, note reading or learned to play any musical instruments. I hated not having musical lessons as a child and giving in to my dad’s insistence that I become an academia like him because he thinks music is something I can always learn later in life. Well, it’s now much later in life and I still cannot read notes and play any musical instruments.
2. Mr. Husband has recently started his own business and escaped from the vicious workplace he was in from which I begged him to quit since years before. He is happy, I’m happy he is happy, but I hate the fact that his business is so faraway in Indonesia which means that at the moment we have separate lives from one another.
3. I hate that people think I’m this big strong woman (emphasis on big) who isn’t afraid of anything and is highly independent. I am sometimes that woman but most of the times I’m just a normal woman who needs her man beside her to make her feel all warm and fuzzy and is afraid of many things e.g. worms, and I’m very dependent on my friends and family. Miss them to bits.
4. I have always been big all my life until 2003 when I had weight loss surgery which enabled me to lose a good 38 kilograms. I hated the fact that I had complications in 2007 and had to undergo another surgery for severe acid reflux as a result of the previous surgery (and all the throwing up I did while losing weight) that caused most the weight I lost come creeping back in.
5. I hate that my low-thyroid level is making it so much harder for me to lose weight despite all my efforts and willpower, plus the fact that I am of a certain age makes it all the more difficult then when I was, say, 18.
6. When I have guests staying at my place, I cook and bake for them. The thing is, people who’s tasted my ‘creations’ have said that I really have a knack for it. But I hate the fact that I love my own cooking so much that whenever I cook (when I have guests, which is ALL THE TIME) I tend to eat A LOT and ruin my dietary regime.
7. I strive to be the best at everything, at least to be good at everything, which is impossible. I hate this need to be good at everything that I have because when I’m not good at something, I beat myself up about it.
8. I hate my crooked teeth. period.
9. I am a very stubborn person who tend to like challenges in life. I learn from my failures but sometimes I fail at the same things more than once which is the thin line between being stubborn and stupid. I hate never being able to determine if I’ve crossed that line.
10. When it comes to friends, I trust and fall in love with them too easily. I’m gullible and vulnerable that way and have gotten my heart broken, back stabbed and some aspects of life ruined because of it yet I still give people the benefit of a doubt. I hate myself for always giving that to undeserving people, and for not being able to stop doing it.

tuh yang nomer 4, kok bisa gitu? dokternya yang sebelumnya malpraktek gitu? atau apa sih?.
4, 5, 6 are numbers that talking a bit more about weight, a topic that every lady has to face their body weight problem day by day. too skinny, too fat, too everything, after hearing other’s opinion “you look fat now”, “you look skinny, are you sick” etc sometimes makes us worry about our fluctuative weight.
to have sexy bod, flat six pack abs, uplift boobs and butt is something enthralling. ah…just stay fit and healthy. don’t wanna get obsessed with it
