I have always preferred Hillary over Obama, but when Obama won and become the Democratic Presidential candidate, I preferred him over McCain, just because of his political leanings and the fact that many of his political stance (and his platform) are those of Hillary’s.
I was a little bit surprised that Obama won the race. Just a little. I think Americans have had it up to here (pointing to top of head) with the war, the Republicans and the fact the whole world is ganging up and hating their guts that it’s no wonder they voted for him. For them, voting Obama means voting for change. I just hope it’s for the better.
In any case, this victory is a milestone in the American history. Not only did an African-American won the race, but a (part) native AFRICAN African-American won the race (Obama’s father is a Kenyan, not an African-American born and bred for generations in the US of A and his mother is a white American).
This victory also cements the notion that America is indeed a land of opportunity, where everything can happen for just about any son of any immigrant (although an Arab-american as a President would probably happen in, like, 500 years from now, if it happens at all). I know this will possibly give headaches to immigration officers because as a resulf of this win, even more immigrants will be trying to come in and ‘live the American dream’.
But anyway, good on Americans for proving the world wrong about them and showing the world that (finally) a member of the minority group CAN be President as long as he has the support of a lot of capable white people is capable.
You might already know that I have no affiliation with any religious beliefs, I am a staunch and proud member of the non-prophet organisation. I also enjoy coming to a site called Faith Freedom and reading the stuff there. I highly recommend the site and articles as I have found them to be very entertaining, and some are even quite educational.
Last night, I read something the site founder have written about Obama that makes sense but also sends chills down my spine. The title of the article is “Understanding Obama: The makings of a Fuehrer”. Ali Sina (the author) writes his psychological assessment of Obama, how he thinks Obama suffers from a severe pathological narcissistic personality disorder, and even at one point, compares Obama with the Führer, Herr Hitler himself.

Narcissists have only one issue. They want power and will do and say anything to get it. Their words mean nothing to them. They do not intend to keep them. They look into your eyes and swear on a stack of Bibles that they are not going to do something when that is exactly what they intend to do. I’m no psychologist, I don’t know shit about psychology save my own experiences with people. But just read the article, watch the videos and imagine if all that is true, if Obama is indeed a pathological narcissist and liar (not very hard to imagine, he is after all a politician). That just means America’s gonna be in deeper shit than it has been during Bush’s reign. I hope none of it’s true.

Don’t forget also that he has a MASSIVE amount of supporters all over the world. Practically everyone in the world cheered up and overjoyed when he was announced as the new US president.

@Catshade – Like I said, I’m no psychologist, I know nothing about this. But the article was quite interesting, his description of people with narcissism fit a person I know very well, which was amusing, so all in all I enjoyed it.
And as I said, imagine if it’s true.. wouldn’t it be scary? (key here being the word ‘imagine’)

Heh. Typical of that Ali Sina fella. Basing accusations/assertions on prejudice, rumors and what ifs rather than facts. That guy owes $ 50k by the way.
I really think Obama, McInsane or whoever won’t make a difference. Not as long as the American people remain docile as to who are really running their country, fundamental change will never come.
Clinton, Bush, McMurder and Obama are just pawns for the Zionists to manipulate. And even if the pawn gets promoted into a queen (as the case with Obama) he would still be just a playing piece for their masters to control. If the American people understood what a grip these people have got on their government, they would surely rise up in arms.
Y’know, I’ve always wondered why every Presidential hopefuls have to swear allegiance to AIPAC (Israel) first rather than the American people? And how Israel is able to annually steal $ 5 billion/year from the American tax-payers even in the current financial crisis? And how Israel, the ’state’ the size of New Jersey is able to receive more aid than the entire continent of Africa?
Boggles the mind doesn’t it?
Let’s just hope that Obama can muster enough courage to avert a full-on war with Iran on Israel’s behalf.

This article is text-book propaganda, which makes it f–king ironic that he compares Obama to Hitler! Have another read.
Think about this:
1. All politicians have a cult of personality. Politics is a popularity contest!
2. The writer doesn’t have one example of Obama exhibiting any dysfunctional qualities, except lying (see below).
3. Instead, the writer picks examples of things people who Obama allegedly knows(?), maybe met once(?), probably doesn’t even know(?), his pastor (?!!), possibly taking them out of context. My bet is that a lot of this is misquoted as well. So, Obama is guilty by association?! Are you responsible for the view of your priest?
4. The writer quotes lots of authorities on personality disorders, but doesn’t give any examples of Obama displaying them.
5. He then lists examples of Obama apparently lying (OH MY GOD! A POLITICIAN TOLD A LIE! THE SKY IS FALLING!), but that only shows inconsistencies in things he has said. Don’t even get me started on the sources of these alleged lies: Fox News?!! Even if they are lies, it only means he lied – which is standard fair for this arena.
I could go on and on and on and on… All this article does is demonstrate how anyone who has done Journalism 101 can use propaganda to destroy a reputation.

Good one! Most propaganda is not designed to fool critical thinkers (such as yourself) but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all.
And it’s common knowledge that Faux (Fox) News is a mouthpiece for the White House. The moment someone asks Fox News reporters real questions about the situations in Iraq, Iran or Israel, they have a major meltdown. That’s their cue to protect their embarrassment. They get combative, question the person’s patriotism, knowledge, intelligence and credibility. Typical Fox fascism.
It’s hard to keep up with Fox reporters because they don’t report. They frame questions to affect the outcome and kill honest debate.
Hi Rima, very interesting article…Is obama the right choice? I think it’s never been about the right choice, it’s about a better choice. Narcissist? That’s a rather harsh assumption. Confident is a better word for it. To be able to move people, leaders do need that quality.
Now, all we have to do is just wait and see. But if he run america the way he run his campaign, then american had nothing to worry about. For the rest of world, fingers crossed… Hopefully he can keep his word on talk first policy, not attack first policy..

Thx for the responses. I found this article to be quite entertaining but I was also entertaining the idea of it being true. That sent shivers down my spine. I agree, the article is just to out there but then again, we’ll see what happens during Obama’s presidency, if he can turn things better.
