The Indonesian government has once again outdone itself with the plan of passing the pornography bill. Well done, government!! I can’t believe how the country has done so much improvements throughout its years of ‘democracy’! And this bill, well, it’s just the cherry on top!, isn’t it? The government should really start thinking about bills to ban homosexuals too, just to really get a head start in this race against moral deterioration!! Soon even Saudi Arabia will have nothing on us! (notice the VERY HEAVY sarcastic undertone)
Some people think the country is better, I still think it’s heading down the sewer, and this bill is (one of the very many) proof to that. Unpatriotic of me, you say? Screw you! Sue my sexy behind or get out of my blog if you don’t like what you read! (although I am now more confused than ever as to why I still hold on to my dark green passport, a color that, by the way, I HATE, when I am eligible for an automatic ‘upgrade’ to a nicer shade or burgundy)
Indonesia Matters have in detail laid out the pornography bill HERE. Sorry it’s in Indonesian and that I’m not going to translate it for you, except a few bits that matter.
PORNOGRAPHY BILL DRAFT
Chapter I: General Regulations
Article 1
1.Pornography is a material of sexuality (?) made by humans (MY CAT CAN DRAW TOO! So now we’re discriminating against animals?) in the form of pictures, sketch, illustration, photo, WRITING, noise (shit, I’m so doomed), moving picture, animation, cartoon, poetry, conversation, body language (Ok, I’m definitely going to jail for sure since Therry is so adamant on me having sexual appeal oozing from every pore of my being) or another form of communication through many kinds of media and/or public showing of something that will result in a sexual desire and/or breaking acceptable moral norms in the society. <- SUPER IDIOTIC
The verses after these aren’t important.
Article 2
The pornography bill is based on the One true God, respect of human fate and dignity, pluralism, law, non-discrimination and protection of the citizens of the country. <– WHAT?? Such Bullshit!!Article 3
The pornography bill is intended for:
a. The realization and to sustain an ethical society life, with good morals and one that highly supports the values of the One true God, and also to respect the human fate and dignity. <– AGAIN BULL BULL BULL!!b. Providing education and guidance for the people’s conscience and morality. <– This has got to be a joke, corruptors and greedy people attempting to ‘educate and guide’ the people?
c. Providing law regulation and protection for the citizen from pornography, especially for children and women, and <– Not even funny anymore, this is absofuckinglutely no longer Bullshit, something bigger, maybe Dragonshit is what it is.
d. Preventing the spreading of pornography and sex commercialization in society. <– Hookers beware. Yeah right, as if the lawmakers aren’t fucking some woman who is not their wife in their spare time.
Chapter II
Prohibitions and limitationsArticle 4
(1) Everyone is prohibited from producing, make, duplicate, spread, broadcast, import, export, offer, sell, buy, rent or provide pornography that contains:e. Fornication, includes ‘abnormal’ fornication;
f. Sexual violence;
g. Masturbation;
h. Nudity or something that implies nudity; or
i. Genitalia.
(2) Everyone is prohibited from offering pornography services that:
a. Explicitly offers nudity or something that implies nudity; <– Hookers, you must start buying robes that cover you from head to toe, and develop some code that will let prospective customers know that you are “implicitly” offering nudity when the price is right.
b. Explicitly show/offer of genitalia; <– I must from now on leave my vagina in Belgium whenever I decide to visit my home country, just to be safe. I wouldn’t want to be sitting in a cafe in Plaza Senayan and suddenly be accused of carrying around my genitals to offer people.
articles after these aren’t so important.
Article 6
Everyone is prohibited from letting other people hear, watch, use, own and keep a pornography product as mentioned in Article 4 verse 1, except those who are lawfully appointed to do so. <– And just how can we have this kind of lawful appointment to have pornographic items? And seeing as Article 4 verse 1 point i mentions genitalia, does this mean we can no longer be proud owners of penis shaped vibrators? Does this mean back to the times of the use of aubergines/cucumber/banana/…[fill blank with a phallic-shaped object of nature]… as replacement of the real thing?
Article 14
Production, spread and usage of material of sexuality will be allowed for those with values of:a. Art and culture;
b. traditional norms, and
c. traditional rituals. <– Yes, do not forget to ass kiss the Balinese as they are the main tourist destination of Indonesia which by default makes them the biggest provider of income from tourism. Our government are true hypocrits!
Article 22
(1) The role of the citizen as mentioned in Article 21 can be done by: (sorry, I didn’t translate this one, it basically said that the citizen can have a role in the prevention of pornographic production and spread)a. Reporting a violation of this bill; <– Somehow I predict that there will be many news in the future, what with the election coming up and all, about a certain candidate who have violated this law. Businesspeople might also report their competitors of pornographic acts seeing as it’s cheaper than going to ’shamans’ to have their competitors killed by voodoo. This bill provides so many wonderful opportunities to bring other people down!
b. Taking offenders to court.
Explanation for Article 4
Verse (1)
point a
‘Abnormal’ fornication includes fornication or other sexual activity with corpse and animal (The cow-fucking Balinese man is so screwed!), Oral sex, anal sex, lesbian, homosexuality. <– See? One step towards banning of Homosexuals as I have suspected. And this also mean that no more cunning linguists are welcome in Indonesia. The little fella Theo will no longer be welcome in Indonesia either, that poor guy.point d
Nudity or something that implies nudity means showing of body that shows nudity by using seethrough materials. <– Sad demise of the bikini, backless/plunging neckline/cleavage showing/tank tops/chiffon/organza/kebaya (you know how some kebayas are made of seethrough brocades that are sexy as hell? Say goodbye to those!)/short shorts/miniskirts. Say hello to shapeless potato sacks and the use of diving gear/long black robe in the swimming pool because God forbid anyone should see you in a revealing thing called SWIMWEAR in a swimming pool or the beach, right?
Don’t get me wrong, I am all for heavy fines and long jail time for sex offenders like rapists and pedophiles, but if the government are making this bill to ‘protect’ women, why not also make an article against the degradation of woman and moral insanity like, let me take a random example, polygamy, maybe?
I’m getting a brainfreeze from this. So no more great sex by forbidding oral sex. Homosexuals and lesbians must be celibate, but yet they will not be allowed to masturbate either, no dildos, no normal clothing, no embracing your sexuality and femininity, no more anonymous sex blogging (shit!), no more explicit offer of my genital (I’m sure Mr. Husband will be puzzled when I ask him to mow my lawn instead of the usual, “babe, take off your pants and do me” while coyfully offering him my ‘genital’), no more speaking for those with very sexy voice, no more seen in public for those with sexual appeal oozing from every pore of their being. That’s the end of my public sighting, then.
And all this is ‘for the betterment of the nation’ they say? Yeah, right. Those fucktards know nothing about good morals, improving the country or doing remotely anything in the interest of its citizens.
Realization and maintenance of an ethical society life, with good morals and respect the human fate and dignity MY ASS! I said it once I will say it again. Our stupid government is obsessed with sex and porn, period! What constitutes bad morals for them is anything and everything relating to the crotch/groin and genital area, as if sex is something very shameful and dirty.
Corruption? Human rights violation? Having orgies with their many wives? Ignorance and stupidity among its citizens? Citizens dying of hunger while government officials go on holidays with their whole family with state funds to Europe/US/any other foreign country? People losing their homes to the poisonous mud and STILL not compensated correctly while the perpetrator becomes the richest man in the nation? Discrimination against Lesbians and homosexuals? Fertilizing the ground for bigotry and STUPIDITY? It’s all good, nothing to be ashamed of or feel dirty about there. As long as women are not out and about walking, sending sexual body signals, talking or doing anything that will cause erections for their tiny dicks, that’s all that matters. What a GREAT country, huh?

I was talking about this with himself earlier on, and we were saying how stupid it was to regulate people based on what clothing materials they wear.
Javanese traditional clothing for women, which is the kebaya, is not only see-through but also shows cleavage and sometimes the navel. THIS is our traditional heritage.
I suppose we should just get rid of it because the government are paranoid that everyone else is having more sex than they are, then?
We are known for our kebayas and kondes, not our jilbabs and black robes.
This bill will just allow stupid religious extremists to take things on their own hand and justify their anarchist actions (we all know which groups I’m talking about).
“Yes exactly that, which is what I’m most worried about.”
I condemn those who write this bill in the name of protecting Indonesian women of some sort and may the perfect punishment be them getting screwed in the ass by a mustang with big schlong.
Oh wait. Is that pornography? The one I just write? So sue me!!
Sad Rim, very sad. This show that Indonesian civilization has moved backward to the times where people are still learning how to light a fire. Even those cavemen are smarter than us.
“They are smarter than us.. I am speechless at times when it comes to what happens in Indonesia, really..”
Rim, educate me on this one deh.
This looks like focusing on the pornography industry, am I right?
Cape deeeee”
Ridiculous law..
“hear hear!”
Hi Rima,
The main problems in Indonesia are the corruption and the religious radicalism. The bill is one of the steps of trying to make Indonesia as a second Taliban.
“yeah, those are two of the three most pressing problems we have, the third being ignorance. I am afraid of our country becoming Taliban, I think I have said it many times before with several people telling me that I am paranoid. So am I paranoid, really?”
[...] English: http://rimafauzi.com/blogs/?p=791 [...]
unfuckinbelievable! i tought the whole notion of the, fucktard bill that is RUU-APP, has been flushed down the drain.
I am deeply concerned about this…. damn, are they trying to break up the country?
“They are. I think they want those who do not agree with them to get the hell out of the country, of at least protest and fight for their own independence. Bali, Maluku and Papua might just do that.”
Phew, it means that I can not use my dress, my sheer shirt, tank top, short
I am the one who against the law, why the government should bother with Gay, Lesbian issue.
Gay and Lesbian, for sure the brain of this issue is MUI, because my friend already told me about that.
Why we have to worry of pornography. There are a lot of things to be worry, the radical issue, the corruption issue, poverty issue. OMG.
But I think that’s how we attract others attention to us. The FPI (Front Pembela Islam) will do whatever they want.
There will be a looooot of demonstration and bribe issue besides the conflict of religion.
“Yeah, there will be a lot of trouble because of this. The government never learns from past experiences.. You then would have to throw away your good clothes and buy karung beras to wear. You can always send your clothes to me..
You know.. hanya masalah waktu aja Rim sayang…ntar semua orang bakalan pake robes atau apalah itu potato sacks..
I have seen the transition in the last 15 years!!!
Dikit demi dikit lama2 jadi bukit! What’s next! aku capek liat perubahan Indo yg ke arah itu…
I love Indonesia.. so it is so painful to see where it is going.. gitu sayang!!
Capek Deh.. so I am leaving on a jet plane…
Walah!!!
“Wah, berarti kalo gw pulang kampung mesti beneran beli potato sacks buat dipake.. apa gw beli mukena aja ama sarung dan pake itu kemana2? lol
iya, gue pas ninggalin indonesia thn 2001, things weren’t like this, gue gak bisa ngebayangin deh orang2 kaya elo yg masih tinggal disana dan melihat perubahan2 itu pelan tapi pasti terjadi dan bikin nyesek..
Emang iya, sayang banget soalnya perubahannya bukan ke arah yg baik, tapi jauh sebaliknya.. bikin nyesek, geregetan, marah, semua campur aduk jadi satu.. sedih banget..”
Sharia by another name….
FPI in control….
Sexual habits legislated against….
Anyone think Indonesia is getting better?
and NO Endy, you dont leave. you dont run away. you FIX the problem. If you run away the idiots win another round.
I am sick of Western soldiers dying fighting other peoples wars. The people of Afganistan should have stood up to the Taliban. Now my friends fight and die, and Afghans arrive in the land of my dead friends seeking asylum.
You don’t run away. You bomb mosques. You shoot the leaders of the FPI.
You do what the Taliban are doing to my friends. You drive these idiots out.
You wanted independence. You got it. You live with it.
“Well, I dont fully agree with you on all of it. I do not agree that other nation are fighting for afghanistan or iraq, for example, and that is because they didn’t ask for it. in the case that a nation asks for help, i think it’s legit.
I especially do not agree with bombing mosques, it’s not the mosque that is the problem, it’s the ignorance of some people. Shoot leaders of FPI?That’s just gonna make them happy, to die a ’syahid’ death that will enable them to go to heaven and get their virgins. Jail them for life, that should do the trick.
There are so many other ways besides aggression that we can use, but the sad thing in Indonesia is that the people in power are those who are ignorant and dangerous for the nation, so what can be done now?”
If you dont fight dirty you will lose. Drive that old Ford up to the Mosque doors and hit that red button.
Im sick of playing nice guy. Time to use the tactics they use.
“well you can do what you want. im not going to ever play dirty and will never recommend anyone to do so. if we do that, we are no better than those we are fighting. the fight of some like the islam liberal network is already good enough. it offers people an alternative way of thinking. i think when more and more people adopt a conscience and brain, then nobody should ever have to play dirty again”
I’m new to the blog, but I’d say that I completely agree to everything you wrote.
It’s just wrong when those holier-than-thou (yet hypocritical) lecherous old men (yes, the ones with many wives) in the parliament invade our privacy THAT badly. -__-;
Even worse, the stuffs about ‘Abnormal’ fornication… WTF. Seriously, WTF. T___T
What this country needs, is EDUCATION. Not some motherfucking DOCTRINES. >_>;
I’m sorry if I sound rude in any way, but I believe I’m just as enraged as you are. Nice to stumble upon your blog, by the way.
“Thanks for coming to my blog, you are welcome anytime..
and by the way, you are not rude in anyway, not to me at least. lol..
Yeah I know, those men should be shot in the balls, then we don’t need the fucking bill cos they can’t get it up nomore, right? lol”
I thought they were going to abolish this completely…
Two words: “KURANG KERJAAN”!! (got nothing better to do!!)
Someone please get monkeys to run our country, please. They can probably do a better job.
“yeah, or pigs, or elephants.. seriously, ANYTHING is better than the current government!”
The bombing of the mosque I do not agree.. juga tembak gembong FPI aku gak setuju..ikutin hukum aja.. tangkap teroris dan mereka yg melanggar hukum.. and hukumannye should be working in a high security jail with a job of raising pigs everyday… maksudku pig farm gitu..what do you think Rim
??
Would that be scarey enough for people who is willing to commit act of terrorism (sp?)hoping to be mati sahid (sp?)
Imagine being in najis situation all day for however long they have to stay in that miserable jail.. now we are talking playing dirty!!
“Yeah.. that would suit them better.. lol”
Ugh, exactly. -__-;
Even worse, article 22 would definitely give a chance to those retarded anarchist groups *coughFPIcough* to do as they please. :/
“Yeah, I cannot imagine what will happen as soon as this law is implemented.. “
I’m basically waiting for the day I relinquished my green passport to be a Bali/Manado/Papua national. So sad to see all those politicians out there playing the sharia card.
“I want a Bali passport.. nahh.. i’ll be happy with a belgian one.. :p”
Oh, you must also see those moronic comments out there that tells us to wait until our spouse/relatives/friends getting raped or molested before we know the value to that idiotic bill.
“There are people saying that? REALLY??? Where?????? I would like to comment on those comments..”
What is the implication to this? The (big, BIG) government make friends with the “religious authorities”, who in turn will support their dictatorial, environmentally unfriendly form of control. Since the love is mutual, it means the same people (the same old people) will have more time to be in power, which means more time doing deals with foreign corporates selling virgin lands owned for centuries by a local tribe. Just to name one act of love.
It’s been noted that each DPR person roughly gets Rp 70 Million a month, frequent international travels, and all the luxurious joy in life that don’t represent the plight of ordinary Indonesians. And you hear all these stories where these “delegates” were offered women.
In the end, it’s all about power, moneeeh and honeeeeh!
Fuck em I say.
(nice blog btw
just stumbled upon it recently)
(also if you need sources for some things I wrote above, let me know)
“Please do give me sources.. It’ll make good writing. Will email you.
Yeah, I know how those DPR members act when they are overseas. Mr. Husband used to work in the KBRI here, and there were many times when he had to take them to brothels.. and these were done in ‘working’ visits.. yeah right, working their dicks off more like it..”
To Damn Polar Bear: OH GOOD. You tell us to bomb mosques? And we’ll keep on going round the same circle. You think you’ve been playing the nice guy? Ha. You’re trying to make people scared with the word ‘Taliban’?
Sorry, I’m not choosing your way of fighting. You act as if all Muslims in this country agree on the Bill. I’m a Muslim and I think the bill is idiotic and unnecessary. The Islamic parties are trying to make voters vote them in the next General Election; PDI-P and PDS too are gambling with the votes of the non-Muslims and Muslims who are against the bill.
Shit, what should I do with all my clothes?… I don’t want to throw them away
“Send it over, i can still wear it here..
”
Rima, I think we should wait and see how the govt. will implement this bill. I think it will be an extra jobs if they have to watch how the women dress here. How many arrests are they going to make everyday in Jakarta alone if the bill drafts are intended for individuals? how many moral polices are they going to enforce to make who obey the law and abide by the rules??? I will never ever willing to wear hijab or the likes because it is against my individual right as a person. As bad as it sounds, I do not think the govt. can turn Indonesia to be an Arab state in a day. I don’t think the moderate Muslims love that idea either. So, let’s hope for the best.
“That is the ONLY thing we can do, Wait. Hopefully there are more sane people in the government than insane.. i don’t know what people will start doing once this law is implemented. It’s kinda scary..”
Ridiculus law! We need porn and sex to survive! ¬0¬.
Its like prohibit the sex and procreation, damn!
“really? we need porn to survive? lol that’s a first”
First of all, I agree with Pierrot – you can NEVER get rid of porn. Never. People will always find a way to get it, and the more the govt tries to keep it away from the people, the more sexually enraged they are.
Secondly, I disagree that bombing mosques and everything is the only way to solve the problem. If everyone starts bombing each other then soon there will be nothing left. The law should be practised correctly (if possible, in this country!) but the thing is, if we put all those terrorists and corrupt government I don’t think our jails will have enough space to fit them all in! Hhahahahahahahaha
“Nope, not enough space, which is why we should rent Singaporean jails.. lol”
For some stupid idiotic comments I mentioned above, do visit one of our famous news portal and read the RUU AP articles. Usually there a lot of those there. Freakingly scary how people can be that moronic and refuse to use their brain. Those kind of people are the one that blame women for showing a bit of flesh just because the little man down there can’t be controlled by the bigger and more rational one up there.
“Yep, it’s a Dick’s world”
PB, you’re seriously suggesting that people bomb mosques? – you realize that is a terrorist threat made repeatedly in a public space.
yeah, right, let’s just bomb each other and all. it’ll be fun.
I would’ve commented on issue if this thread wasn’t so embarrassingly silly.
“This thread is not silly. If you think one opinion or one person is silly, whatever it’s clear you and PB are in a contest on whose dick is bigger, but the thread itself is not a silly one.”
gosh! this is what they have been working on??? completely none sense!! let’s see first what all the daughters of the “pejabat” are wearing nowadays and sue them first if they dare!
“Yep..let’s see what’s gonna happen with them. I doubt anything will..
”
Come now, as if it’s going to be implemented. It’s just law. Something for the textbooks.
“Let’s just wait and see. Idiotic things usually are accepted easily in Indo..”
i got a question? is a blue-film really that bad? consider what it could do to a married couple that has a very cold bed. maybe it would light some fire, dont you think so? all i’m saying is lots of things dont have the evil quality within. it could only be evil in a wrong time and a wrong place. i really think that we should never forbid any erotic fantasy, we should fight against raping and rapist instead.it’s not about the exploitation of our body that matters, we should stand all up against exploitation of the weak
